weekly wrap-up 2013 // week 6

we left the house several times this week. nothing fancy at all, but hey, we can’t call ourselves hermits.

sunday | february 3:

a quick jaunt with the boys to target for a few necessities. popcorn and ice-es were obviously on that list.

he knows that he can only run to the yellow crosswalk pad.

shadow pics are a must.

monday | february 4:

pretty sunrise under the clouds.

my daily life: ice water, emails and flowers (when i’m lucky enough)

target practice.

he watches from afar and loads his own weapon.

gibson and i ran together today and saw a soft sunset through the trees.

this kids loves to hide in his quilt.

the chances that we both have 3 guys home and both need a 1 to win has got to be one in a million. the tension was thick as we each took turns flipping the cards in hopes that it was a 1. as badly as i wanted it to be him, i drew the next 1 and ….well…won. he was a good sport though.

tuesday | february 5:

had this conversation with marshall on the way home from errands. he has a major crush.

wednesday | february 6:

matt invited me to his pity party and i went, reluctantly at first. then we ended up here and how do i turn down spinach artichoke dip and garlic parmesan wings and cherry coke?

side note: super proud of marsh for washing his hands on his own at cold stone.

oh yeah, the boys all got ice cream, but mama wanted a cupcake. carrot cake with cream cheese frosting to be exact. oh freaking yum.

thursday | february 7:

these trees all lined up and the sun rising behind them is one of my favorite morning views when i drive to work.

the sky was so confused today.

marshall finally let us dance to something other than gangnam style. but it wasn’t a rock….

love texts like this with my papi. i miss my parents when they travel and i am having serious withdrawls now that it’s been 4 months and i have to wait another 2 before they come home in april.

friday | february 8:

because it was friday. and i needed this.

the boy has discovered #vineapp and another stop motion app for his phone. and as soon as i get him to upgrade the app to the full version i can share the videos with you…

saturday | february 9:

i moved my gram’s old cabinet into my room and while i was filling it with books, i discovered this little piece of music wedged between the shelves. i love finding little random pieces of her.

here’s the cabinet, instead of the folding black desk i had here before. cleans the space up sooooo much!

marshall got a haircut.

this is me, makeup free.

fun nails this week. hot pink + mint!

after church, the boys sat at the table and drew. here’s gibson’s tank.

got a little addicted to this silly #imadeface app tonight and made the whole family. i think this is what the boys might look like when they’re a bit more grown up.
