no resolutions, just words
Here we are. The beginning of another year. I do love this time. Time for closure and time for openness to change. A time for reflection and thoughtfulness. Simply a time to start all over.
In past years I have made long lists and short lists of goals that were going to change my life (and my pant size). But come March, I just lost interest. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed with all the to-do’s of daily life. So I’d plan and fail. Then by the time we’re done with the Easter eggs and the summer barbecues and the turkey, I can’t even remember what I was supposed to be resolving.
So thanks to Ali Edwards and her great ideas, I’m focusing on a word each year.
