Big bags are still in style right? Well this is one big bag I couldn’t wait to make.
Check out how cute this fabric is! I also found this line in a pink set and a blue-ish turquoise. (My Mom is currently making me a quilt with the blue/black/grey material for my “winter color theme”!)
I used a pattern that was designed by someone else and honestly, the instructions were very complicated and numerous errors and inconsistencies were found. With the help of my mom’s super awesome sewing skills, we worked it out and made our own modifications along the way.
This bag is loaded with pockets outside and a few more inside. I can literally hold everything that I need everyday and it doesn’t feel cramped or too big. The handles are long enough to wear with a thick jacket and are sturdy as well.

I LOVE it. I want to make one, too. What is the original pattern?
It’s a pattern I found at my local quilt shop by something like KD Creations…but honestly, her pattern was very complicated and had many mistakes so I had to make a lot of adjustments in order to get it right. I’ve looked for her online but cannot find anything. If I get the time to ever type out the pattern with all the corrections I’d be happy to post it. I’d love to give credit where it’s due.
