fall wreath

more felt you say? yeahhhh, why not! it’s fall and felt has that warm feeling.

my fall colors inside the house are gold, brown, black, white and grey.

so why not strut a little stuff on the outside as well.

originally i purchased a foam wreath at michael’s for $10 but really thought that was too expensive. kristy of kristymakes suggested getting a water noodle to make a bunch of them and it would be so much cheaper. unfortunately i couldn’t find any noodles beings that it’s september and halloween decorations are in full presence.

but not to fear…i found foam wreaths a bit smaller for $4.50 each. so i grabbed 2 and returned the other one.

i used long strips of white muslin to wrap it, black yarn to wrap around that, felt to make flowers, scrap fabric to add color and buttons to add depth.

i am SO ready for fall.
