another two-weeker. some busy weekends hadn’t allowed for much bloggy time. you still love me right?
sunday | april 15:
my daddy’s potato salad is THE BEST. it’s all about the mustard.
monday | april 16:
marshall ends up with pink eye so there’s the wait at the pharmacy for eye drops. and when that little boy gets bored and wants to play with my phone…we get pictures like this. i also ended up with a picture of his feet, 5 more of fluffy dog, one of our favorite deli lady and a few random videos of shelving and the floor.
tuesday | april 17:
the game of sweet revenge.
thursday | april 19:
i love when i get to do design work. i wear many hats at work but this one fits me best!
just a little something for me.
when i asked gibson to make a list of all the 10 things he wanted to do this summer, he went above and beyond and made a top 11. by the way, number 11 will NOT be happening.
friday | april 20:
when marsh and i hopped over to OSH for some weed killer and to check paver prices, we saw this neat car in the parking lot. the owner happened to be coming back to it when i was kinda giddy about showing it to marshall. he was so sweet and let marshall honk the horn and sit in in. if i remember correctly, it’s a 1918 something-or-other. it was pretty awesome!
this is the current mud slab and soon to be patio. at this point, we weren’t going to do the patio until a few weeks later.
hey…who is that sneaking a pb&j?
i cannot tell you how happy this makes me.
saturday | april 21:
i found out that OSH was having a no-tax sale this weekend so we decided it would be a perfect time to get the pavers we needed for the patio and the bbq area. gibson helps the OSH guys load 120 pavers into the back of the yukon. we did have to make two trips of 60 each.
progress. i’ll do a full post on this project later on in the week. don’t wanna miss it!
#photoadayAPRIL day 21: sweatin’ in the yard all day had me on this bottle all night.
i found a couple new photo apps today and had some fun using new fonts and filters. [phonto for the text and pic fx for the filter. each were $.99]
i am realizing that this should have been day 22.
tough life this one has.
monday | april 23:
my new love. asparagus with feta and crushed red pepper flakes.
love our skies.
tuesday | april 24:
grateful for these kids. honestly, they are really good. super fun. cool and smart. am i a little biased?
these beauties make my work space so much brighter!
wednesday | april 25:
cali weather gives us early crops. they are juicy and sweet but i can’t get to them before the ants dig holes in them. so many are going to waste. any tips?
thursday | april 26:
“mom, put your fumbs up.”
a real dental appointment. laid there so quiet (well, when he wasn’t blabbering and chatting it up with the ladies.
kind of a rough day at work. some days, some clients drive me to drink. i sure felt good after this guy was empty!
still in love with my mostly black and white gallery wall.
friday | april 27:
scrap night and sleepover at my parent’s house. trying to spend time with her before they leave for 4 months. cheez-its and iced tea are must-haves for scrap nights!
saturday | april 28:
the boys both slept on the downstairs couches so i got to sleep in until 7am. they both came into bed with me, as they would if we were home and snuggling soon turned to wrestling and jumping. wouldn’t have it any other way.
after breakfast, we got ready and headed to our friend’s birthday party. pretty much the cutest party i’ve ever been to. a french madeleine theme for a 2 year old girl…perfection. here meghan is spinning marsh around for pin the tail on the dog.
even though we were exhausted from a late night, an all afternoon party and the driving, the boys had enough energy to run around in the sprinklers. so this is what i did.
it was THE most perfect weather. and look at all that sun! i see skirts and dresses in my week ahead!
hope you enjoyed a little peek into out little lives!
hugs!
I loved the peek into your lives!! Just for the record my MOM makes the best potato salad in town, have NEVER found another one that I would even eat. I don’t even try to make it because it won’t compare.
HOORAY FOR NEW PATIO!! I AGREE YOUR KIDS ARE AMAZING, CUTE, KIND, FUNNY, STYLING DUDES, MY SON DOESN’T EVEN WEAR CLOTHES THAT YOUR BOYS DO. THEY GET IT FROM THEIR STYLING MAMA!!
WOW GREAT TEMPS FOR YOU GUYS, WE HAD A HOT DAY TODAY AND ANOTHER ONE TOMORROW THEN BACK TO COLD.
STRAWBERRIES, YUMMY!! YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR JAM AND THEN JUST FREEZE THEM FOR SMOOTHIES AND FOR SNACKING ON LATER. YOU COULD HAVE THE BOYS SIT UP FRONT WITH SOME AND MAYBE SELL THEM. WE DO THAT WITH OUR GARDEN CROPS, I’M SURE YOUR CUTE BOYS WOULD BE GREAT AT THAT.
LIKE YOUR WHITE/BLACK DOTTED NAILS!!
Thanks for the photos, always good to see what your up too.
Great week!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
