hey! whatcha been up to? this week was full of changing minds, having fun and being grateful.
come see what we were up to.
sunday | october 28:
pillow fight with the boys. they creamed me!
so of course i made it one of my #30daysofthanks.
the packers did win…woot!
monday | october 29:
hurricane sandy didn’t affect us here in california, but there was no shortage of support on facebook. loved this one and it made me realize how incredibly selfless some people are.
thankful today for this relationship with gibson.
wednesday | october 31:
he wanted to be a ghost, like charlie brown was, and he liked awful scary!
thursday | november 1:
friday | november 2:
up all night with marshall who was in pain from an earache.
it was a rough morning of having to excuse myself from a client meeting to go get marshall from matt who had to bring him on set to a client commercial shoot which wasn’t working because marsh was so uncomfortable.
was able to get right in to see the dr. and get a rx for amox. he crashed before lunch after lots of snuggles and matt and i were able to resume work duties while he slept.
then an email response from one of gibson’s teachers prompted this text.
#30daysofthanks: today i’m thankful for technology for allowing me full access to my kids’ school stuff. this cool website and app lists all assignments, grades, attendance and messages from teachers in real time. thanks to #powerschool, we are on top of gibson’s stuff everyday!
#fmsphotoaday today is color. running through target today i found a cute christmas display and within 5 seconds i knew this would be my christmas color theme. red, white, silver and craft brown. we’re going warm and woodsy this year.
saturday | november 3:
marsh woke up feeling soooo much better! 🙂
had a pretty awesome lunch too. tuna, avocado and tomato on trader joe’s sprouted grain bread, kale salad with lemon and garlic viniagrette and breadcrumbs and a small piece of leftover salmon.
while marsh and i cleaned, matt and gibson did all the grocery shopping. thankful today for them doing it so i could clean and for 2 couple of full refridgerators full of yummy and healthy food. we are very blessed.
church tonight was great, we’ve been talking about family matters. love that the boys love it and that we live in a town with a church that is blessed to be able to offer a special ministry for the kids of all ages. my kids are so open to the Word and have that natural loving spirit…makes me know we are doing the right things.
i’m also considering volunteering in the nursery. i’ve been feeling a bit of baby fever and would love to hold some babies, as long as their parent’s are coming back to get them. 🙂 pray for me as i ponder taking on a new role.
well friends, another full week and looking forward to more. the weather is getting cooler, kinda, and i’m hoping to see another few days of rain here soon.
hoping your weeks have been filled with joy and laughter!
