Oh Family Fun! What an awesome collection! The colors and sentiments are the perfect jumping off point for all kinds of documenting.
I had this cute picture of my 9-year old and the colors in his shirt and hat were a perfect match with Family Fun so I ran with all the colors!
The 6×12 layout size is new to me, but turns out it’s similar to the space of a traveler’s notebook, just bigger!
Layering is something I am always struggling with so I want to practice more and more. Since I couldn’t decide on only a few die cuts and items to use, I figured this was a good place to work on improving my skills!
I tucked a 3×4 journaling tag under the photo and layered all kinds of die cuts and ripped pieces of paper.
A heart always belongs on a layout, so this one went best here, where so I could continue creating the visual triangle of clusters.
At the bottom I made a nice big chunk of goodies, including a currently card and some puffy stars and die cuts that pop right off the page! I used staples within each little cluster to help them feel connected on this long and stretched out page.
The layering was so fun and easy to do with the variety in the Family Fun collection and I love how this layout came out!
