Our Rainy Season // Felicity Jane

Hi friends! If you just can’t wait to get your hands on the latest Felicity Jane kits, grabbing the digital version is a great way to get supplies quick!

I created a fun pocket page using just one single sheet of digital products!

I first chose the items I wanted to use on my page and printed them out. One tip here is that I actually added the Brooke image to the top of the heart card before I printed. This saved me the space she would take up and one less thing for me to fussy cut.

I love how it all looks when it’s cut up and ready to play with!

This layout was inspired by a photo I captured in the rain. The photo actually caught the raindrops and the sunshine was shining right into my lens. Adding a simple text strip and paper clip keeps the focus on the photo and what it conveys.

Because Brooke is already on the card and taking up a lot of room, I added a simple striped button to balance out the black umbrella.

I wanted to use the blue cloud on the diagonal striped card because the stripes almost work as rain drops without adding any other images. Popping the label over it with some foam tape was the prefect place to add the stamped date.

I love the JUST A THOUGHT card because it gave me permission to keep the journaling as simple as the embellishments. I narrowed down all the feelings I have right now and what this photo represents at this time in my life into one simple statement.

Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you’ve been able to take something from this project and work it into your own layouts! You can grab your Brooke Kit and extras here >>> BROOKE
