Illustrated Faith // Doodles to Live By is AVAILABLE NOW!

A brand new devotional kit is available at! Just look at all of that yummy doodly goodness! (* please note: ink pads, washi samples and pens are not included in kit)

The first thing I do when I get a new kit is to add other items that I can use with it like pens, washi samples and ink pads. I like to test out the colors to make sure they coordinate well.  And so I don’t hold an entire roll of washi tape hostage with 1 kit, I use plastic thread bobbins to wrap a small amount of coordinating washi onto and I keep them together on a small book ring.

I’ve already made it through Day 2 of Doodles to Live By and am really loving the topics – all things about YOUR STORY! The story that God wrote for you can be documented right here! There are really tangible prompts and lots of room for doodling!

I have loved this devotional so much already! It’s right up my alley with documenting stories and memory keeping. And it’s available NOW! Head on over to to pick up yours and use code FAITH25 for 25% off your entire order – STOREWIDE!

Felicity Jane // SRSLY. I Love Food.

Hey friends, today I am on the Felicity Jane blog to share a traveler’s notebook page about something that is deeply important to me! FOOD!

This quote and photo come across my instagram feed and knew I had to use it in my notebook! But when the Caroline kit for April arrived I couldn’t believe how perfectly the colors coordinated with the lady’s blouse and apron!

I matted the photo on a piece of solid paper from the kit to separate it from the white page and then tucked the top part of a tag behind it for color and dimension. And I basically want to use that teeny floral patterned paper on EVERYTHING! Isn’t is darling?

The alphas this month are GORGEOUS and so striking so I used a slang spelling for the word SERIOUSLY for 2 reasons: 1) I like to document current trends and kids and memes are all about making up shorter versions of words and 2) I couldn’t actually fit the whole entire word across the page so it was a perfect solution!

To balance out the title, I used a label of the same color from the die cut pack and wrote in my “subtitle”. Instead of drawing a heart or writing out the word LOVE, I decided to use one of the tiny rubber hearts to add dimension and color! Isn’t it the cutest!?!?

Overall I think I having fun in your memory keeping is top priority and there are no rules as to how sarcastic or humorous you can be. So I say “Go for it!” and be silly and funny even though we are very serious about our love of delicious paper products!

Until next month, Friends!

Elle’s Studio // Traveler’s Notebook with Live Laugh Love Collection

Hello Friends! I couldn’t be more excited to share this project with you which shows off the brand new Live Laugh Collection!

In a nutshell, I used the papers to build my own traveler’s notebook for documenting my day at PlannerCon2017 and I wanted to really show more than just the final product. So along the way, I snapped photos of how I put it together. Each photo below is a set of process photos and I’ll talk about each part but then I also have a video look inside so you can see the end result up close and personal.

These photos will go from left to right so you can follow along:

  1. I selected 12×12 papers and 6×6 papers that I would match my photos.
  2. I cut the larger papers down to TN size (approx:  XXXX)
  3. I then arranged them in an order that would put coordinating papers next to each other.
  4. Same as step above.

5. I laid out photos and die cuts I wanted to use.
6. Once the pages were arranged how I wanted, I gave them a slight fold so I had a guide for the stitch.
7. I ran the whole book right through my sewing machine. One tip, make the stitch a healthy length. If you make it too short then the pages will perforate. Trust me on that! HAHA!
8. Now you have a book!

9.   Here’s a quick peek inside so you can see how some pages look when opened.
10. I narrowed down the supplies I wanted to use and stored them in a flat tray to keep them handy while I worked on the book.
11. Here’s a closeup of the embellishments I used.
12. And the cover – all finished!

This is probably a great time to share the video with you so you can see how it all came together. Then you’ll have some more detailed photos to follow!

Check out some more details of the book using the Live Laugh Love Collection! It’s available in the shop now!

Thanks so much for hanging out and watching!

See you soon,

Fun ways to use Stamps in your Pocket Pages // Felicity Jane

Happy April, Friends! I am excited to be on the Felicity Jane Blog to show you some fun ways to use the Felicity Jane stamps and using up kits in your stash.

Stamps are a wonderful way to add to your cards and layouts. Let’s take a look at a few fun ways you can! Head on over to the blog!

The smaller sentiments are perfect for adding to a label or tab from the cut apart sheets!

I hope you enjoyed the details!

Until next time!

Using Pockets for a single event

Hey crafty babes, Andrea here again and it’s no surprise that I’m sharing a pocket page with you. But this time I want to inspire you to scrapbook a larger event that is separate from your weekly or monthly documenting.

I am featuring the March kit from Elle’s Studio that can be found here:

Let’s look at this layout here where my kiddo and I took a trip to IKEA for some shelves. I started with 3 photos that all had a similar colorway and I just knew I had to keep them together and tell just this story without including them in my normal weekly spread. Using the blue and yellow theme of the March kit I pulled out labels, cards, puffy alphas and die cuts that coordinated and made sense in the layout.

Supplies: March Monthly Kit | Sky Blue Puffy Alpha Stickers | March Labels | Vellum Sentiments | Puffy Star Stickers | Date Stickers – Blue & Green | Puffy Heart Stickers | Everyday Labels Puffy Stickers – Black

The fun and challenging part about this whole ‘documenting’ thing is knowing what to document. It can be difficult to think to the future and wonder what should a person know about this photo or person or layout. Thinking about that, I decided to use the puffy alphas to make a title of the name of the shelves. The KALLAX shelves are very popular among crafters because they fit our gigantic albums perfectly and I have so many of them in my home already. Having the name down will be a fun little nugget in years to come!

One thing we like to do when we go to IKEA is take pictures against the bright yellow wall. And since I had several that were useable, I decided to make a collage of them instead of keeping them separate. This is helpful in keeping your layout from feeling cluttered as well as it creates a striking visual! I added various labels that stuck out the side and layered some die cuts to add color.andreagray_ellesstudio_ikeatrip_photo2

The vellum circle is so perfect for this photo I took in the mirror section. andreagray_ellesstudio_ikeatrip_photo3

So now that I’ve acquired the shelves, of course I had to document how they came to life in my family room. The turquoises and yellows in the March kit work perfect with my colors in that room so it was a no-brainer!

Supplies: March Monthly Kit | Right Now Journaling Tags | TV Journaling Tags | Grow and Bloom Wood Veneer

This card from the Right Now Journaling Tags makes a perfect place to list some fun facts about the experience.andreagray_ellesstudio_kallax_photo1

Since this room is where we watch all of our TV (and by TV I mean YouTube and Netflix) I thought it would be perfect to use this 4×6 journaling tag from the TV mini collection. I just added a wood word and an acrylic heart for color.

This room really is my fav so I added a piece of washi and glued down the fun and clean acrylic word to this leftover piece of patterned paper from the Summer Days collection.

I couldn’t leave the layout without adding 2 of my favorite cards from the March kit – joy down in my heart and good times were perfect for this layout. I love when supplies help tell the story!

So there it is, friends! Permission to scrapbook larger events in pockets and not cram it into your weekly layout. I hope you take tons of photos so you can make a special layout (or two) too!

Until next month – Happy Scrapping!

Jane says // a notebook layout

When I work on entries in my personal traveler’s notebook – they tend to include everything from quotes, humor and a bit of sass.

And the look on Jane’s face was perfect for this quote I’ve wanted to add to my notebook. She has a rebellious side!

Today on the Felicity Jane blog – I dive into how this layout came to be.
