2015 pocket pages // weeks 10 – 14

hey scrappy friends!

our weekends lately have been open and free for me to get my scrap on! it’s been a blessing because it’s what i am really craving these days. i’m not sure i’ve been this current in a long while, either. i don’t feel particularly comfortable being this caught up because i am afraid that i’ll eventually run out of stuff to scrap.

thankfully i always have my personal album to fall back on when the family album isn’t inspiring me or i don’t have all the photos i need. and oh, i have done some updating in that album and will post a video flip thru soon!

but back to weeks 10-14 – i have so much to share!
new techniques. lots of full page layouts. super colorful pages.

take a gander at that if you like and then scroll for detailed pics of each layout.

well thanks for hanging out with me and my album. the weeks of 2015 are flying by, right? how are you doing on your album(s)? do you keep more than one?

hope you get a chance to get crafty this week!

creative team reveal + video // july take ten kit

the excitement to share this kit with you is overflowing today! i was so honored when colie from cardstockoption.com asked me to be a guest designer for her july take ten kit so naturally, a layout and video was in order!

here is the full layout i did to commemorate our family getting a trampoline. and yes, we made a big deal of it!

watch the video here that goes through each item in the kit and then shows how i put the layout together.

all the details are here too!

take ten kits are $10.00 only for subscribers! kits left over after all of the subscribers have made their purchases will go up for sale for $12.00 (non-subscriber price).  this method allows for an easy opt-out, no commitment subscription service.

thanks again to colie for letting me work with this gorgeous kit! she made it so easy to use darn near everything as well as combine it with other supplies.

project life update 2014 // week 20

hello friends and happy mid-week!

today i’m sharing week 20 with you. i might say this about all my pages, but this is one of my favorites. when i laid out my photos, the colors that stood out to me were turquoise, hot pink and yellow. so that’s what i ran with.

i dug into my supplies and pulled items with variations of those 3 main colors. i did not attempt to stay within one style or kit. on purpose, my selections were based solely on color and how they fit. using vintage styles and graphic punches of color together made me feel super rebellious…and i liked it! A LOT!

come check out the deets up close:

the weekend of week 20 was pretty sweet. marsh and i visited my parents in our old hometown and did some shopping, frog finding, ice cream enjoying, horseshoe throwing, country road driving and mexican food eating.

for this layout, i stuck to mostly deena rutter’s coral kit with other embellishments.

thanks for sticking around! so do you usually stick to one kit on a layout or do you like to play with multiple styles and designs?
happy scrapping!

hello summer // a print & play kit by stephanie adams designs

what i love most about being on a design team is that i get to be a part of small business and creative minds that dare to inspire. the lovely and talented stephanie adams has started a pocket scrapbooking kit that calls to our need for instant gratification and the anticipation of happy mail.

the print & play concept means you can download the digital kit which includes premade silhouette files so you can get right to cutting and scrapping. you can also order physical kits and play with those when they arrive.

i made a video to show how i used both the physical and digital kits from the hello summer collection:

i hope you enjoyed seeing how they can work together. below are the up close details of my layout.

IMG_2471 IMG_2459 IMG_2460 IMG_2461 IMG_2462 IMG_2464 IMG_2463 IMG_2466 IMG_2465

the digital bundle is $10 for a limited time…so run over and grab yourself one…and get playing! then subscribe to the physical kit because it’s way too awesome to pass up! *the physical kit may already be sold out by the time you read this, but if you want next month’s – go subscribe!

happy scrapping!
